Denpasar, June 4, 2026 – As the Denpasar SME Champions (UMKM Juara Kota Denpasar) competition approached its final stage, the Top 10 finalists participated in a Preparing Pitch Deck session designed to enhance their readiness and confidence in presenting their businesses before the judging panel. The session featured Made Adi Paramartha Putra, Ph.D., a lecturer at Primakara University, as the keynote speaker.
During the session, participants gained valuable insights into the importance of a pitch deck as a business communication tool that effectively presents a company’s profile, the problems it addresses, the unique value of its products or services, market opportunities, and business growth strategies in a concise and compelling manner. The training was designed to help finalists create structured, engaging, and easy-to-understand presentations capable of leaving a strong impression on their audience.
In addition to discussing the essential components of an effective pitch deck, participants received practical guidance on presentation techniques. Topics included delivering messages clearly, building confidence in public speaking, and responding to judges’ questions in a professional and convincing manner.
The session was highly interactive, featuring discussions and experience-sharing activities that enabled participants to better understand how to communicate their business potential more persuasively. This preparation served as an important step in helping finalists navigate the evaluation process while also strengthening business communication skills that will benefit them in future entrepreneurial endeavors.
Through initiatives such as this, Primakara University continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the growth of entrepreneurship and the SME ecosystem. By providing relevant and practical training, the university hopes that the finalists will be able to present their ideas, innovations, and business potential professionally, compete with greater confidence, and maximize their opportunities to achieve outstanding results in the Denpasar SME Champions competition.
Kurniawan Joko Purnomo, S.Kom., M.M., a lecturer at Primakara University, served as a speaker at a training program held by UPTD Bapelkesmas Bali Province. Through sessions on Digital Marketing Strategy and Personal Branding, participants gained practical insights into building a strong personal identity and leveraging digital platforms to enhance their competitiveness in the digital era.

The workshop equipped participants with practical data processing and analysis skills essential for academic success, professional careers, and the digital era.
Desak Putu Nitya Dewi, S.E., M.Si., a lecturer at Primakara University, delivered a Microsoft Word training session during the ICT Training Program for students of IKIP Saraswati Tabanan. The workshop equipped participants with practical document processing skills to support academic, professional, and Microsoft Office certification needs.
