Primakara University continued its commitment to strengthening the capabilities of creative economy entrepreneurs through the second day of the Digital Marketing Training Program, held on July 16, 2026. The training focused on developing practical competencies in branding, packaging, product photography, and digital promotional design to help businesses compete more effectively in today's digital marketplace.
The program began with a review of the first day's materials to reinforce participants' understanding before moving on to advanced topics. Putu Gede Maha Vivaldi, S.Ds., M.Sn., a lecturer at Primakara University, delivered a session on "Building a Strong Brand for Creative Businesses." Participants learned how to develop a compelling brand identity, identify target markets, formulate a Unique Selling Proposition (USP), and create engaging product storytelling to enhance brand value and competitiveness.
The training continued with a session on "Attractive and Marketable Product Packaging Strategies," where participants explored the role of packaging in marketing, principles of effective packaging design, product information layout, and current packaging trends that can increase product appeal and consumer interest.
The next session was presented by Dharma Prasetya Irawan, S.Sn., M.Sn., who introduced participants to "Smartphone Product Photography Techniques." The workshop covered photo composition, lighting techniques, background selection, and basic photo editing methods to produce professional-quality product images suitable for digital marketing platforms.
Participants also engaged in a hands-on workshop on designing promotional materials using Canva, where they created digital posters, Instagram feed designs, brochures, and reusable promotional templates that can be directly applied to support their marketing activities.
Through this comprehensive training program, participants gained not only strategic insights into branding and digital marketing but also practical skills to strengthen brand identity, improve product presentation, and create engaging promotional content. Primakara University remains committed to empowering creative entrepreneurs with relevant digital competencies that enhance business competitiveness and support sustainable growth in the digital economy.
Primakara University lecturer Made Adi Paramartha Putra, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., was invited as a speaker on TVRI Bali’s Dialog Antar Nusa program on August 6, 2026. Under the theme “AI Utilization, From Learning Spaces to Digital Business,” the discussion explored the opportunities and challenges of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education and digital business development.
Primakara University collaborated with SMAN 2 Abiansemal through the AKURASI (Accounting Literacy and Education Action) Program on July 31, 2026. Joined by around 300 tenth-grade students, the program provided financial literacy education covering money management, saving, budgeting, and the importance of developing healthy financial habits from an early age.
Primakara University continues to support the growth of local MSMEs through digital marketing education. Through the Digital Marketing Training for MSMEs in Sanur Kauh Village, participants gained practical insights into leveraging digital platforms to expand market reach, strengthen branding, and enhance business competitiveness in the digital era.
