Selemadeg Timur, September 2026 - Primakara University continues to encourage the use of technology in education through its Community Service (PkM) initiatives. One such initiative was a training program on Generative AI and Model Context Protocol (MCP) for teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Selemadeg Timur, focusing on the development of learning materials.
The program was conducted by Primakara University lecturer Ida Bagus Kresna Sudiatmika, S.Kom., M.T., on September 5 and 12, 2026, and was attended by 23 participants. The training provided teachers with an opportunity to learn about Generative AI and MCP and explore their potential applications in supporting teaching and learning.
During the sessions, teachers were introduced to ways AI technology can assist in preparing learning materials more effectively and adaptively. These tools are expected to help educators develop materials that respond to students’ learning needs while remaining relevant to ongoing technological developments.
Beyond introducing emerging technologies, the program also aimed to support educators in navigating the digital transformation of education. Appropriate use of technology can create opportunities for more innovative teaching approaches and help teachers prepare instructional materials more efficiently.
This initiative reflects Primakara University’s commitment to making meaningful contributions to society through education, technology, and innovation. Through its Community Service programs, the university continues to share academic knowledge and expertise to support the development of local educational communities.
Moving forward, continued collaboration between higher education institutions and schools can help strengthen educators’ capabilities and foster learning experiences that are more engaging, adaptive, and aligned with the needs of today’s learners.
As part of the BIMA Grant Community Service Initiative, Primakara University lecturers provided digital marketing and financial literacy training to Gringsing woven fabric artisans in Tenganan Village, Karangasem. The program aims to expand market reach and support the preservation of local cultural heritage in the digital age.
Lecturers from Primakara University conducted a School-Scheme Community Service Program titled Gen-Z Preneur Camp at SMAN 6 Denpasar. The initiative aimed to equip high school students with a solution-oriented mindset, basic financial management skills, and the confidence to turn business ideas into reality.
Lecturers from Primakara University conducted a two-day Technopreneurship Workshop for students at SMK Saraswati 1 Denpasar on September 17–18, 2026. As part of a community service initiative, the program equipped young students with practical skills in Lean BMC, basic financial management, and professional business pitching.
