Primakara University reaffirmed its commitment to promoting digital literacy by participating in the Student Orientation Program (MPLS) at SMA Harapan Nusantara on July 17, 2026. During the event, Helmy Syakh Alam, S.T., S.Pd., M.Pd., a lecturer at Primakara University, delivered an educational session entitled "Digital World, Real Character."
The session encouraged students to understand that being digitally competent goes beyond mastering technology. It also requires strong character, ethical behavior, and responsibility when interacting in digital environments. Participants learned about protecting personal privacy, understanding digital footprints, recognizing and preventing cyberbullying, and developing critical thinking before sharing or posting information on social media.
In addition to promoting digital ethics, the program emphasized the importance of using technology safely, responsibly, and productively. As digital platforms become an integral part of students' daily lives, strengthening digital literacy is essential to help young people maximize the benefits of technology while minimizing potential risks.

By collaborating with schools, the university continues to empower students with the knowledge and values needed to become responsible digital citizens.
