Primakara University Strengthens Students' Digital Skills Through Digital Literacy Education at SMP Pertiwi Dewata Denpasar

Primakara University reaffirmed its commitment to promoting digital literacy among students by participating in a digital education program held at SMP Pertiwi Dewata Denpasar on July 17, 2026. During the event, Jauzaa Maylia Suhendro, S.T., M.T., a lecturer at Primakara University, served as the keynote speaker, sharing valuable insights on the importance of digital competence for today's younger generation.

The session introduced students to responsible and effective ways of using digital technology in their daily lives. Participants learned about digital safety, ethical online behavior, critical thinking when consuming digital information, and the importance of using technology as a tool for learning, creativity, and positive social impact.

The program was organized through a collaboration between the Denpasar City Office of Communication, Informatics, and Statistics (Diskominfos) and the Bali Information and Communication Technology Volunteers (RTIK Bali) as part of a broader initiative to strengthen digital literacy among students and the community.

Primakara University believes that digital competence extends beyond technical skills. It also includes the ability to think critically, behave ethically, and utilize technology responsibly.
