Primakara University, through its Community Service Program (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PKM), continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to enhancing financial literacy among the younger generation. This initiative is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to equip students with essential life skills that are relevant to today’s economic challenges and opportunities.
On October 24, 2025, I Gst. Agung Pramesti Dwi Putri, S.E., M.Si., a lecturer at Primakara University, carried out a PKM activity at SMK Pandawa Bali Global. The program was conducted under the theme “Enhancing Financial Literacy among SMK Pandawa Bali Global Students to Build a Financially Smart Generation.” This activity was designed to provide students with a strong foundation in financial knowledge and awareness.
During the session, students were introduced to fundamental concepts of financial literacy, including the importance of managing personal finances, budgeting, saving, and understanding responsible spending habits. The material also emphasized the significance of developing good financial behavior from an early age as a key factor in achieving long-term financial independence and stability.
In addition to theoretical understanding, the session encouraged students to reflect on their daily financial habits and how those habits can influence their future economic decisions. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, participants gained a clearer understanding of how to manage money wisely and avoid common financial pitfalls.
The activity was warmly received by the students, who showed high enthusiasm and active participation throughout the session. This reflects a growing awareness among young people of the importance of financial literacy in preparing for adulthood and future career challenges.
Through this program, Primakara University aims to contribute to the development of a financially smart and responsible generation. By strengthening financial literacy at the school level, students are expected to become more independent, disciplined, and capable of making wise economic decisions in their personal and professional lives.
This initiative further highlights Primakara University’s commitment to impactful community service, particularly in empowering youth through education, knowledge, and practical life skills that support their future success.
Primakara University collaborated with IKIP Saraswati Tabanan in the 2026 Microsoft Office Training Program. Led by lecturer A.A. Ita Paramitha, S.Pd., M.Kom., the session equipped students with Microsoft PowerPoint and internet skills to enhance their digital communication and presentation abilities.
I Gede Putu Krisna Juliharta, S.T., M.T., a lecturer at Primakara University and Chairman of RTIK Bali, delivered a digital transformation training for the officials and staff of Tibubeneng Village. The program focused on digital-based organizational performance management to strengthen efficient, transparent, and technology-driven public services.
Made Adi Paramartha Putra, Ph.D., a lecturer at Primakara University, served as a speaker at the SITEFEST 5.0 Teachers Workshop themed "Optimizing Learning with AI." The session introduced educators to practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create more effective, creative, and future-ready learning experiences.
