Primakara University has strengthened its commitment to impactful research and community engagement by collaborating with the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA) and several partner universities in a joint Research and Community Service Program focused on developing Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes).
The collaborative initiative integrates Fraud Risk Management and Sociopreneurship as key approaches to improving governance while encouraging innovation in the management of village-owned businesses. By combining academic expertise with professional best practices, the program aims to help BUMDes build transparent, accountable, and sustainable business models that generate long-term economic and social value for local communities.
Beyond providing research-based assistance, the collaboration also serves as a platform for knowledge sharing among universities, professional organizations, and village stakeholders. Through this partnership, BUMDes are expected to strengthen organizational governance, enhance business innovation, and improve their competitiveness while responding to the evolving needs of rural communities.
For Primakara University, this initiative reflects its ongoing commitment to implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the areas of research and community service. Through strategic partnerships with academic and professional institutions, the university continues to develop impactful innovations and practical solutions that contribute to sustainable village development and the strengthening of Indonesia's local economy.
