The Student Association of the Information Systems Program (HIMA) at Primakara University successfully organized the INTERAKSI program (Implementation and Community Education by Information Systems) at SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati on Thursday, September 18, 2025. This initiative reflects the active role of students in community service activities, particularly in enhancing digital literacy and information technology awareness among young learners.
On this occasion, the training session was delivered by Mrs. A.A. Istri Ita Paramitha, S.Pd., M.Kom., a lecturer from the Information Systems Program at Primakara University, with the topic UI Design (User Interface Design). The session provided participants with comprehensive insights into the principles and importance of user interface design in the development of digital products and applications.
Students were introduced to the concept of designing interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also functional, intuitive, and user-friendly. The material emphasized how good UI design plays a crucial role in improving user experience, which is a key factor in the success of modern digital systems and applications.
The activity was conducted in an interactive manner, allowing participants to engage in discussions and explore real-world examples of UI design implementation. This approach helped students better understand how design principles are applied in practical digital development scenarios.
The INTERAKSI program stands as a tangible example of collaboration between lecturers and students in making meaningful contributions to the community. Through this initiative, it is expected that students of SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati will gain stronger awareness of creative digital literacy and be better prepared to develop foundational skills in interface design and information technology.
Through such programs, HIMA Information Systems Primakara University continues to demonstrate its commitment to empowering the younger generation through education that is practical, creative, and aligned with the needs of the digital industry.
Primakara University collaborated with IKIP Saraswati Tabanan in the 2026 Microsoft Office Training Program. Led by lecturer A.A. Ita Paramitha, S.Pd., M.Kom., the session equipped students with Microsoft PowerPoint and internet skills to enhance their digital communication and presentation abilities.
I Gede Putu Krisna Juliharta, S.T., M.T., a lecturer at Primakara University and Chairman of RTIK Bali, delivered a digital transformation training for the officials and staff of Tibubeneng Village. The program focused on digital-based organizational performance management to strengthen efficient, transparent, and technology-driven public services.
Made Adi Paramartha Putra, Ph.D., a lecturer at Primakara University, served as a speaker at the SITEFEST 5.0 Teachers Workshop themed "Optimizing Learning with AI." The session introduced educators to practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create more effective, creative, and future-ready learning experiences.
