Denpasar, May 25, 2026 – The Accounting Study Program of Primakara University once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of young talents through a Guest Lecture held at SMK Bali Dewata. The event featured Desak Putu Nitya Dewi, S.E., M.Si., Head of the Accounting Study Program and a lecturer at Primakara University, as the speaker for a Microsoft Excel training session designed to help Accounting students prepare for their Competency Examination (Ujikom).
The training was attended by 73 Accounting students from Grades X and XI, who were divided into two learning sessions. During the program, participants received both theoretical instruction and hands-on practice in using Microsoft Excel for accounting-related tasks, including data processing, the application of basic formulas, and the preparation of simple financial reports.
Microsoft Excel is one of the most essential skills in the accounting profession and a key competency that students are expected to master before entering the workforce or pursuing higher education. Therefore, the training was designed to provide practical knowledge and enhance students’ readiness for their upcoming competency assessments.
In addition to technical skills, participants gained insights into the growing importance of technology in the accounting profession, particularly as digital transformation continues to reshape industries worldwide. Through an interactive learning approach, students were encouraged to understand how technology can improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in accounting practices.
