Building confidence is often rooted in the courage to express ideas and communicate effectively. Recognizing the importance of this skill, Primakara University organized a workshop titled “Impactful Communication: From Silent to Confident in 3 Hours” on December 20, 2025, held at Alfa Prima Campus Denpasar. The program was designed to equip participants with practical communication skills that are essential for both academic success and professional development. The workshop was facilitated by Eka Grana Aristyana Dewi, M.Pd., who delivered engaging and interactive sessions focused on developing participants’ confidence in public speaking and interpersonal communication. Through a combination of theoretical insights and hands-on practice, participants were guided to understand the fundamentals of effective communication, including clarity of message, body language, voice control, and audience engagement.
One of the key highlights of the workshop was its practical approach. Participants were not only exposed to communication techniques but were also given opportunities to directly apply what they learned through simulations, role-playing, and short presentations. This immersive learning experience enabled them to identify their strengths and areas for improvement in a supportive environment. Despite being conducted in a relatively short duration, the workshop successfully created a transformative learning experience. Participants showed significant enthusiasm and active involvement throughout the session, gradually building their confidence to speak, express opinions, and engage in discussions more effectively. Through this initiative, Primakara University aims to foster essential soft skills among students and the wider community, particularly in communication, which plays a crucial role in personal and professional success. The workshop not only encouraged participants to overcome their hesitation in speaking but also empowered them to communicate with greater confidence, clarity, and impact. Moving forward, Primakara University remains committed to organizing similar programs that support the development of both hard and soft skills. By doing so, the university continues to prepare individuals who are not only academically competent but also confident and capable of navigating real-world challenges.
