As a new academic period begins, the Directorate of Research and Community Engagement (DRPM) of Primakara University continues to prepare lecturers to carry out research and Community Service (PkM) programs in a more structured and effective manner.
On Friday, September 4, 2026, DRPM Primakara University held a Socialization Session on Proposal Submission and the 2026–2027 Internal Research and Community Service (PkM) Calendar, attended by 25 lecturers from Primakara University.
The session covered essential information to help lecturers prepare for the university’s internal research and community service programs. Topics included guidelines and requirements, management stages, as well as the proposal submission timeline for research and PkM programs.
Beyond discussing policies and submission procedures, the session also introduced the latest updates to IRIS (Innovation and Research Information System).
The updated IRIS system is now integrated through the DRPM portal, supporting both proposal submission and the management of research and community service activities. This development is expected to make the process more convenient while enabling more effective and structured research and community service management.
Through this socialization session, lecturers are expected to gain a better understanding of the program mechanisms and timelines, while becoming better prepared to develop and submit research and community service proposals for the 2026–2027 academic period.
More than just an administrative preparation, this initiative reflects Primakara University’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its research culture, encouraging relevant community engagement, and expanding the impact of academic work on society.
The DesaNiaga System Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was conducted as part of the Beginner Lecturer Research (PDP) – BIMA Grant at Primakara University. Held on August 29, 2026, the research team tested DesaNiaga, an e-commerce-based marketing platform designed to support the marketing ecosystem of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa).
Primakara University has established a strategic research collaboration with PT Pegadaian through the signing of a research contract entitled "Analysis of Gen Z Potential in Bali for Digital Gold-Based Financial Inclusion." This partnership reflects the university's commitment to producing impactful research that supports financial literacy, financial inclusion, and industry innovation.
