Primakara University continues to encourage digital innovation through research initiatives aimed at creating meaningful benefits for communities and villages. One of these initiatives was the DesaNiaga System Focus Group Discussion (FGD), held on August 29, 2026, at Primakara University.
The activity was conducted as part of the Beginner Lecturer Research (PDP) – BIMA Grant, under the research project titled “Designing an Integrative Digital Marketing Model Based on BUM Desa to Support Village Food Security.”
The research was conducted by Ni Wayan Nanik Suaryani Taro Putri, S.M., M.M., together with fellow researchers Ni Putu Noviyanti Kusuma, A.Md., S.Ak., M.Ak., EHE and I Gst. Agung Pramesti Dwi Putri, S.E., M.Si.
Through the FGD, the research team conducted testing of the DesaNiaga system, an e-commerce-based marketing platform designed to strengthen the marketing ecosystem of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa). 💻
The FGD involved BUM Desa Segara Giri, Sanur Kauh Village, with three key user groups participating in the system evaluation:
The direct involvement of different user groups played an important role in evaluating the system. Through discussions and testing sessions, the research team gathered users’ feedback, experiences, and needs when interacting with DesaNiaga.
These insights will serve as valuable input for improving the system, ensuring that DesaNiaga becomes more relevant, user-friendly, and effective in supporting the marketing activities of BUM Desa products.
The activity also highlights the importance of collaboration between higher education institutions and local communities in developing digital solutions that address real-world needs. By involving users directly in the testing process, the system can be refined based on the actual experiences and requirements of BUM Desa managers, suppliers, and consumers.
On Friday, September 4, 2026, DRPM Primakara University held a socialization session on Proposal Submission and the 2026–2027 Internal Research and Community Service (PkM) Calendar, attended by 25 lecturers. The session covered guidelines, requirements, management stages, and proposal submission timelines. It also introduced updates to the IRIS system, now integrated through the DRPM portal to support a more effective research and community service submission and management process.
Primakara University has established a strategic research collaboration with PT Pegadaian through the signing of a research contract entitled "Analysis of Gen Z Potential in Bali for Digital Gold-Based Financial Inclusion." This partnership reflects the university's commitment to producing impactful research that supports financial literacy, financial inclusion, and industry innovation.
