A lecturer from Primakara University, Mrs. I Gusti Agung Prabandari Tri Putri, S.E., M.M., served as a speaker in an Entrepreneurship Training held on April 27, 2026, in Jembrana Regency. Her involvement in this activity reflects the active contribution of academics in supporting the capacity development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in addressing challenges and opportunities in the era of digital transformation. During the session, MSME participants were equipped with material on Design Thinking as an innovative approach that emphasizes a deep understanding of customer needs and behavior. Through this method, participants were encouraged to identify the challenges faced in their businesses, design creative solutions, and develop products and services that are more aligned with market demands. This approach also highlights the importance of iteration and experimentation in creating sustainable innovation.
The activity was organized by the Department of Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Trade of Jembrana Regency as a concrete effort by the local government to enhance the quality and competitiveness of local MSMEs. A total of 30 MSME actors participated in the training with great enthusiasm, as reflected in their active engagement during the presentation sessions, discussions, and hands-on practices conducted throughout the program. Through this training, it is expected that MSME participants will not only gain new insights but also be able to implement the Design Thinking approach in developing their businesses. As a result, MSMEs in Jembrana Regency are expected to become more adaptive, innovative, and competitive in responding to market dynamics, especially amid rapid technological advancements and shifting consumer behavior.

On May 19, 2026, I Gede Putu Krisna Juliharta, S.T., M.T., a lecturer at Primakara University and Chairman of the Bali ICT Volunteers, delivered an educational workshop on the importance of information security and personal data protection in the digital era at Tibubeneng Village. The workshop addressed various topics related to citizen data management, the implementation of Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDP Law), and secure strategies for delivering digital-based village services. Participants were encouraged to understand the importance of safeguarding the confidentiality of citizens’ data and the preventive measures needed to reduce the risk of data breaches within village government institutions. Through the collaboration between Primakara University and the Bali ICT Volunteers, this initiative aimed to enhance awareness and strengthen the readiness of village officials in adapting to digital transformation while prioritizing security, accountability, and the protection of community data.
