Primakara University once again demonstrated its international academic contribution through the participation of Nengah Widya Utami, S.Pd., M.Kom., as a Plenary Speaker at the 1st International Multidisciplinary Research Colloquium 2026, held on May 21–22, 2026.
The international event was organized by Visayas State University in Isabel, Leyte in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in Ho Chi Minh City.
Carrying the theme “Synergy of Knowledge: Unifying Engineering, Sciences, and Education towards Sustainable Development,” the colloquium became a platform for international academic collaboration involving researchers, academics, and professionals from various disciplines to exchange insights and research innovations in support of sustainable development.
During the event, Nengah Widya Utami contributed as a plenary speaker and took part in academic discussions emphasizing the importance of integrating engineering, science, and education to strengthen sustainable development globally.
This participation reflects Primakara University’s commitment to strengthening its academic contribution on the global stage while expanding international collaboration in research and education.
On May 19, 2026, I Gede Putu Krisna Juliharta, S.T., M.T., a lecturer at Primakara University and Chairman of the Bali ICT Volunteers, delivered an educational workshop on the importance of information security and personal data protection in the digital era at Tibubeneng Village. The workshop addressed various topics related to citizen data management, the implementation of Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDP Law), and secure strategies for delivering digital-based village services. Participants were encouraged to understand the importance of safeguarding the confidentiality of citizens’ data and the preventive measures needed to reduce the risk of data breaches within village government institutions. Through the collaboration between Primakara University and the Bali ICT Volunteers, this initiative aimed to enhance awareness and strengthen the readiness of village officials in adapting to digital transformation while prioritizing security, accountability, and the protection of community data.
