Amid growing global concerns over environmental issues, waste management, and sustainability, Primakara University, in collaboration with Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, successfully organized the BEST (Broad Exposure in Science and Technology) International Conference. The conference serves as a collaborative platform to foster academic discourse and develop concrete, solution-oriented approaches to pressing environmental challenges.
The event featured distinguished international and national speakers, including Prof. Takayuki Narushima from Tohoku University, Japan; Prof. Yenny Meliana from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Indonesia; and Prof. Erwann Guenin from UTC Compiègne, France. The discussions primarily focused on the development and application of sustainable materials as a key component in advancing environmentally responsible innovation.
Through interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge exchange, the conference encouraged participants to explore innovative strategies for addressing environmental challenges from both scientific and technological perspectives. It also highlighted the importance of cross-border collaboration in accelerating research and innovation for sustainability.

On Monday, April 13, 2026, Primakara University successfully held an International Visiting Lecture featuring Prof. Dr. Arun Kumar Sangiah as an international speaker, who discussed the role of Artificial Intelligence in the development of the Internet of Things (IoT) to support sustainable ecosystems. Through an interactive and inspiring session, participants gained new insights into the implementation of intelligent technologies, global research opportunities, and international collaboration in the fields of AI and IoT.
